About
When I graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in Economics and Math, I knew that I wanted little to do with anything I had actually studied (sorry, Dad). I’ve always been more interested in creative pursuits, which I spent most of my childhood doing (thanks, Mom). But somewhere along the way, I started to repress that part of myself because I convinced myself that I couldn’t succeed if I didn’t.
I began my career in the nonprofit world, working on marketing, communications, and relationship management. From this experience, I realized what I enjoyed most about my job was connecting with folks through conversation and design. This revelation has led me to begin pursing a career in visual design.
